Lush Haul!

Today, my friend Jessica introduced me to LUSH. I've heard of it, and even saw a couple reviews on it. When she suggested going, I agreed instantly and now I cant imagine why I didn't take the time to visit earlier.
I love bubble baths and bubble bath accessories and smellies. Since LUSH sells a ton of bath bombs and bubble bars I bought quite a bit more than I had originally intended.

First one that caught my eye was Sunnyside, its covered in glitter! Bubblies and sparklies in one bar? It was practically calling my name. It has a bright citrusy scent, so I suspect this one will be uplifting and energizing.

Next up is The Comforter bubble bar.  This one is huge and was very pleased when the associate told me it could be broken up and used in around 5 baths. It's bursting with a sweet blackcurrant aroma, and is supposed to turn the water a purplish color. Definitely looking forward to this one!

I also got a Pink Bath Bomb. The bomb is an awesome hot pink color with cute candy looking flowers embedded on the side. Its fragranced with vanilla absolute and tonka beans. I absolutely love the smell of vanilla. I'm going to use this with my vanilla shampoo and conditioner, and vanilla body lotion for an intense evening of all vanilla goodness.

Sex Bomb Bath Bomb. So I admit, part of what intrigued me was the name. Even better though, on the top, it looks like a little rose peeking through the side. It contains Jasmine absolute and Soya milk. I love the scent of Jasmine, and I read that Soya milk is supposed to soften the skin. I bet it will change the water a soft pink color, well...I hope so anyway!

Dragon's Egg. Another bomb with an interesting name. More interesting though....GLITTER! I didn't know this when I was looking at in in the store, but the super helpful associate clued me in. I couldn't really tell from the outside, but we'll see what it looks like in the tub. This one has Lemon Oil, so i would consider it another invigorating type scent. It is also has bergamot oil, I'll be interested to see how it blends with the lemon.

Last but not least Tisty Tosty. I have no idea where the name comes from, but I love the cute heart shape. It's also filled with mini roses! I love roses in any form, and these are no exception. I only hope that they aren't a nuisance to clean up afterward.

I'm kicking myself for not going to LUSH earlier. There are so many awesome things there I have a sneaking suspicion that this was just the beginning. I also saw they had solid shampoos and conditioners, so I have that to look forward to. :)
If you're interested, stay tuned! I will be writing about these in depth as I try them!

  1. I'd be interested to know if any of the dye used to make the bath bombs stains the tub. They look great but I've been hesitant to try them for fear of stains that won't come out.

  2. I used the dragons egg bath bomb last night. It turned the water orange with gold glitter. It didn't stain, but did require an extensive rinsing.
